Our expected salary range for this role is $118,800 to $132,000 based on experience, accompanied by a robust benefits package.
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical) with 5 years of relevant technical experience or equivalent engineering background
- Maintain minimum access criteria and favorable medical evaluations/tests as required for the position
- Proficient in managing cross-functional projects within an asset or plant
- Experience in leading feasibility studies and design tasks for new commercial projects, preferably in nuclear facilities
- Familiarity with NRC regulations and standards
- Knowledge of design standards, procedures, and regulatory guidelines relevant to power plant interfaces
- Oversee feasibility studies and design processes for new commercial projects
- Utilize expertise to ensure feasibility assessments yield accurate data for business cases
- Collaborate with Nuclear & Power engineering teams to clearly define and understand project scope
- Ensure timely review of technical deliverables and rigorously assess their technical validity
- Apply knowledge of applicable design standards and regulatory guidance to support projects interfacing with power plants
- Coordinate with site engineering managers to gather necessary information for project execution
- Conduct engineering activities in line with design standards, company procedures, and regulations
- Provide expert technical guidance for engineering analyses, activities, and programs
- Assist in identifying and troubleshooting equipment and system issues
- Manage engineering tasks as assigned, leveraging engineering principles
- Ensure work accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery through proper configuration management
- Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses for technical projects and programs
- Propose equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce expenses, rectify design or material deficiencies, or align with regulations
- Complete designated training to expand knowledge in specific areas and mentor junior engineers on technical topics
- Fulfill additional job responsibilities as per company policy or management directives, including support for department coverage and outage activities
