- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not considered)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree preferred
- Over 9 years of proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- At least 4 years of experience working with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
- More than 4 years of experience utilizing open source frameworks
- Over 1 year of experience managing teams
- More than 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies
- Lead a variety of technology projects alongside a skilled team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop solutions that align with regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on technology trends, explore new technologies, and engage with both internal and external tech communities; mentor fellow engineering professionals, and occasionally code or assess code
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Employ programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as leveraging Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services
